It was wonderful finally getting to meet you on Sunday, the 5th.

As for working with Karen for your cake, I think it would be a safe bet to say that you would be pleased
with her work. I initially heard of Karen through a Holiday Dessert Auction for charity. I bid on her cake and was fortunate
enough to take it home! It was huge- I had no idea what to do with it- needless to say- there was very little left when it
was all said and done. Her cake that I bid on, also won first place in that auction, and there were lots of others from very
well known places in the area. If she would work this hard on a cake for an auction, I am sure her wedding cakes would be
phenomenal. I most recently had her make a cake for my boyfriends surprise birthday party. It turned out adorable. And it
was so delicious. She did a great job, and I can speak first hand when I tell you that she takes pride in her work, as if
she is making it for herself. She really seems to put her all into every cake that she does. She is so easy to work with and
is so incredibly kind. I have told all of my friends about her and would be comfortable recommending her to anyone.

The cake you created for my surprise birthday party on January 13th at the Sundial was wonderful.
Both the hat cake and the tiered white cake were moist, good tasting, and beautifully decorated. Your beading, ribbon box,
purple trim on the red hat were all very well done. The purple and white orchids were so lifelike. But the gloves! I've
seen rolled fondant cakes from other specialty bakeries, magazines, on TV and even at Harrod's in London, England. I have
never seen anything as exquisitely done as the pair of gloves.
